The GL3 is a cylindrical grinding machine for dedicated processes in a high-production environment. With a small footprint, it features a hydrostatic wheelhead bearing and way system, and the patented TOYODA STAT® BEARING and floating plate to ensure high accuracy and positioning. This machine is offered in plain- and angled-head configurations.

TOYODA STAT BEARING SPINDLE
The TOYODA STAT® BEARING uses a hybrid of hydrostatic and hydrodynamic technology to eliminate metal-to-metal contact inside the bearing. This allows your grinder to run at top performance longer than your typical spindle bearing and making a rotational accuracy of 0.016microns the new industry standard.
HAND SCRAPPED HYDRAULIC SLIDES
Each Hydraulic slideway is hand scrapped in Toyoda japan factory by master craftsmen to ensure a high level of precise flatness with a maximum surface area for oil reservoirs to ensure a smooth movement.
USER FRIENDLY HMI GC50 CONVERSATIONAL CONTROLLER
Our grinding machines use Toyoda’s own conversational controls. In a convenient touchscreen panel, operators are able to program at the machine with a touchscreen interface, 64 program capacity, integrated can cycle & 15 points for wheel dressing.
